Alliance Cargo Express has been commissioned by one of the top petrochemical companies from Indonesia to arrange the shipping of the new oil refinery equipment from the US to Indonesia.
This project is a very complex logistics exercise that requires arranging and preparing specialized heavy haul rigs to move from Wisconsin to Texas.
The equipment could fit only on B747F, and the most significant piece of equipment required a heavy lifter, Antonov 124 (Ruslan), to move the cargo by air from the US to Indonesia.
Shipment required several engineering teams from the manufacturer, airlines, and ground handlers to sync the efforts to ensure safe and secure handling and departure of the cargo.
