- Complete the address and contact info for the ultimate consignee. Direct Consumer (D) - A non-government institution, enterprise, or company that will consume or use the exported good as a consumable, for its own internal processes, as an input to the production of another good, or as machinery or equipment that is part of a manufacturing process or a provision of services and will not resell or distribute the good. Government Entity (G) - A government-owned or government-controlled agency, institution, enterprise, or company. Reseller (R) - A non-government reseller, retailer, wholesaler, distributor, distribution center or trading company. Other/Unknown (0) - Other/Unknown is an entity that does not fall under one of the other three ultimate consignee types or whose type is not known at the time of export.
- Notify Party - may be the same as the consignee, maybe the consignee's broker/agent. Include a contact name, telephone, and email.
- Is the shipment hazardous goods?

A routed export transaction is a transaction in which the FPPI authorizes a U.S. agent to prepare and file the EEL While the FPPI will select the U.S. agent, it may give authorization to the USPPI to file the EEL There are separate responsibilities for the U.S. Principal Party in Interest and authorized agent in a routed export transaction. §30.30(e).

- Weight in KG.
- Value of that Schedule B/HTS number.
- Is an export license required for your shipment? NO: NLR, Yes: provide License Number and expiration date. Exception: Check that box and supply a citation.
- ECCN: Does your product have an Export Commerce Control Number? YES: provide that number, NO: EAR99.
- What is your shipment's US State of origin, and what country are you shipping to?
- What are the payment terms for your sale to your customer? (Do we need to be concerned about whether you have a letter of credit or a direct collection letter?
- Weights and dims for LCL or Air shipments. Not required for FCL.
- Do you have any special handling instructions or documentation requirements that you want to make us aware of?
- How do you want us to distribute the export documents after sailing?
- The signature of whoever within your corporation is authorized to sign. Does have to be an officer of the corporation.
